The Family-Focused Office

Rate This Session

Guest Speaker: Scott Peppet, President, Chai Trust Company

Host: Matthew Wesley, JD, MDiv, Managing Director, Merrill Lynch Center for Family Wealth Dynamics and Governance, PPI Dean of Family Culture

Description:  What happens in the rarified world of family offices has hidden applicability to advisors who seek to serve their clients holistically.  In that light, what makes a family office truly family-focused?  In this session, Matt Wesley will interview family office President and advisor Scott Peppet about the “MLF Ratio,” what a “family-focused office” really is, and how families and family office professionals can shift their orientation towards investing in family well-being.  These lessons will be applicable to all professionals who seek to find a path that blends the technical and human dimensions of their work.
